TRAFFIC BARRIERS SAFETY SYSTEMS
A-Safe Traffic Barriers have been identified by Advanced Safety Barriers as a perfect way to help avoid unnecessary damage to your workforce, visitors, machinery and property. These industry standard defence systems are extremely diverse and flexible and will help protect such as walls, building supports, valuable machinery and vulnerable equipment by assisting repelling wayward fork lift trucks, lorries, factory sweepers and cars.
Do not forget that in a factory or warehouse environment, both internally or externally, one simple accident can cost you an extremely large amount of money and possible legal proceedings! So prevention is a less-costly course of action.
Exceptional protection for personnel and customers is obtained when A-safe traffic barriers are used in conjunction with the A-safe pedestrian barriers rail attachments. These barrier systems are most adaptable as they allow for the integration of gates as well as Health & Safety signage into these pedestrian rail attachments.
An extra safety factor is achieved as a result of the distinct and vivid colours of these traffic barriers which therefore also makes them ideal for highlighting designated vehicle routes within your factory or warehouse.
Furthermore there are several versions available including Single Rail Traffic Barriers, Double Rail Traffic Barriers, and Traffic Barriers with Pedestrian Rails.
These professional and industry standard traffic barriers are ideal for the delineation and segregation of fork lift or vehicle traffic ways in commercial and industrial environments.

SINGLE RAIL TRAFFIC BARRIERS
The single rail Traffic Barrier, with an impact height centre of 300mm, is ideal for use in the definition of fork lift/vehicle traffic ways and also in situations where traffic segregation is required. The barrier is easily assembled from modular components to any desired length and as standard is supplied complete with all necessary floor fixing bolts for anchoring the barrier posts into concrete. For lengths between 300mm and 1350mm the barrier is supplied as a pre-assembled one piece unit. The barrier can also be optionally supplied as a ‘cast in’ version. Post assemblies are supplied with a longer post and no base plate. The additional length allows the posts to be sunk into holes which are then filled with concrete, encasing the post when set. Ideal for delineation and segregation of fork lift or vehicle traffic ways
DOUBLE RAIL TRAFFIC BARRIERS
A derivative of the single rail Traffic Barrier for use in situations where increased impact protection, due to the presence of larger or more powerful vehicles, is expected to be needed. The lower rail remains at a 300mm impact height centre with the upper rail being at a 650mm impact height centre. The second rail gives the Double Rail Barrier the additional height to provide protection where there is a risk or chance of impact occurring from vehicles or their loads at a height greater than 300mm and causing damage to personnel, equipment or structures.
TRAFFIC BARRIERS WITH PEDESTRIAN RAILS
When used in conjunction with the pedestrian rail attachment the single rail traffic barrier becomes a combination barrier providing enhanced low level vehicle impact protection with the additional height needed for protection of personnel, pedestrians or equipment. As the Pedestrian Rail Attachment is an add-on item to the Traffic Barrier, it can be retrofitted or removed from a barrier section as and when required. Where there are changes in barrier direction, corner units are available to give continuity in the Pedestrian rail attachment without breaks. Mini bollards (400mm high) are optionally available for added protection on barrier direction changes of 90°. Gates and Health & Safety signage can be incorporated with the pedestrian rail attachment. It is ideally suited for use in situations where personnel, pedestrians, equipment or structures are in close proximity to frequently or heavily used forklift or vehicle traffic routes.
